Latch Assessments

You can reach your goal to breastfeed your baby with the right resources and support. Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always feel that way!

As your postpartum doula, I will support you every step of the way in your breastfeeding journey—from the first latch, pumping and going back to work (if that’s your plan), and even with weaning. These are all milestones that we are often expected to just know how to do, but can be challenging when nobody has taught us how.

As a Sand + Sage client, you will receive Breastfeeding 101, latch and positioning assistance, and referrals to trusted providers, like IBCLCs, infant chiropractors, PTs, and OTs.

Breastfeeding is natural. But sometimes it can be hard. If you are finding it more challenging that you anticipated, I am here for you to find the help you need to achieve your goals.

I feel like I’ve only been successful with breastfeeding, honestly, because you keep me focused and you remind me that it can be done. It will be done! I’m so thankful!

I am so passionate about breastfeeding support because of my own personal story.

With my first baby I navigated a botched tongue tie release, revisions, a lip tie, mastitis, and severe anxiety around feeding. Despite this, I was able to breastfeed my son for over two years and my daughter for 1+!

I learned so much along the way and have made it one of my missions that new mothers have the support, education, and resources they need to be successful from the start.

If you’ve struggled with breastfeeding in the past, know you CAN reach your goals.
